Unlike other phones I've owned, I haven't left my iPhone laying on a table in the coffee shop or on the sink of a public restroom.

Knowing me, it's just a matter of time. So here's my shot at increasing the odds that I'll get it back when I do.

First, I created a 320x480 image with some text offering a reward and a phone number for the finder to call. (Be smart. Use an alternate number.)

I added the image to an iPhoto library to get it on my iPhone and made it my wallpaper. I then enabled the Passcode Lock in the General settings on my iPhone.

Hopefully I'll never find out if this actually works.
